A unified database on vaccination of people to be developed in Tatarstan

On April 24, speaking at a briefing at the regional Cabinet of Ministers, Head of Tatarstan Department of Federal Supervision Agency for Customer Protection and Human Welfare Marina Patyashina said that residents of several countries can bring wild poliovirus to Russia and in particular to Tatarstan.

Patyashina reminded that population should not forget about vaccination because of risks of infection.

Deputy Minister of Health of the republic Vladislav Vinichenko said that a unified database on vaccination of people that will store data on vaccination of citizens of the republic will be developed in Tatarstan.

From April 23 to April 29, 2018  countries of the European region, including Russia, hold European immunization week, an annual event aimed at  raising awareness of the importance of immunization to public health and well-being.
