Rustam Minnikhanov has a meeting with the Governor of Indian States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

On April 17, during his working visit to the city of Hyderabad (India), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Governor of Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Ekkadu Srinivasan Lakshmi Narasimhan.

Minnikhanov thanked the Governor for his assistance in organizing the visit of the Tatarstan delegation to the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangan. He informed him that earlier representatives of Tatarstan got acquainted with the experience of developing the pharmaceutical cluster at the Pharma-City industrial park, visited the T-Hub business incubator and the Microsoft research centre.

"The states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are dynamically developing and are attractive for cooperation. We are interested in your experience in the field of pharmaceuticals and the development of high technology,” Tatarstan President noted.

Minnikhanov told the Governor about the social and economic development of Tatarstan and the key sectors of the region's economy. "We held a business forum with representatives of business circles of Tatarstan and the state of Andhra Pradesh yesterday. Indian partners are interested in developing relations with our republic and are ready to contribute actively to this,” he added.

In his turn, the Governor thanked Tatarstan President for visiting the cities of Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad, adding that the friendship between Russia and India has a solid basis.

Ekkadu Srinivasan Lakshmi Narasimhan stressed that the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are interested in strengthening cooperation with Tatarstan. The Governor placed a special emphasis on the development of agricultural and food security sectors, interaction in the field of health and IT technology.
