Rustam Minnikhanov urges to strengthen the work with debtors on wages

On March 9, at the regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to strengthen the efforts in terms of payment of wage arrears.

Minnikhanov emphasized that this issue is under special control. Due to the coordinated efforts of regional authorities, it has been possible to significantly reduce the wage arrears.

However, this problem still exists in a number of enterprises. “We need to find a solution to the issue. This topic requires close attention of the prosecutor's office, heads of branch ministries and heads of municipalities,” Tatarstan President said.

Minnikhanov asked to pay special attention to debtors in agricultural sphere. In particular, we are talking about Ak Bars Holding enterprise, he said.  Tatarstan President emphasized that in case of further violation of labor law, senior executives of the company should be held accountable. "If this continues, then bring to justice. We will not run after someone every time," he concluded.
