On March 3, speaking at a plenary session of the 7th All-Russian Gathering of Entrepreneurs of Tatar villages, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov noted the important role of business  in the development of Tatar villages in Russia.

Tatarstan President said that he believes that it is necessary to look for various forms to support Tatar villages. "If there are no entrepreneurs like you, then the Tatar villages will have no future," Minnikhanov said, addressing the participants of the meeting.

"We are all worried about the future of our people. How will we live? What will happen to us? I want to say that the village is the basis not only for the Tatars, but for other peoples as well,” Tatarstan President underlined.

Minnikhanov also reminded that a large number of regional programmes aimed at supporting and developing the village are implemented in Tatarstan.

He thanked the delegates of the Gathering for delivering the lion's share of their speeches in the Tatar language. Much depends on personal desire and a worthy example for the younger generation in preserving the native language, Tatarstan President said.

Minnikhanov called on Tatar businessmen to sell their goods through the Internet. "There is an Internet trade,” Minnikhanov said. “For example, a lot of stores are closed in the USA, everything is sold online. If we focus on this, we will be able to sell our products in different countries. "

This year the capital of Tatarstan will host the next international economic summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit", which will be devoted mostly to the Halal industry, Tatarstan President said. According to him, entrepreneurs of Tatar villages can enter new markets using this site.
