Implementation of capital repair programme of social and culture facilities to be continued in Tatarstan in 2018

On January 13, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all regions of the republic, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported that 995 multi-apartment houses with the total area of 5,300,000 square metres will be overhauled in Tatarstan in 2018. It is planned to improve living facilities for more than 224,000 citizens of the republic.

As part of capital repair programme of multi-apartment houses 312 elevators will be replaced, 416,00 square metres of roof will be repaired, 1.6 million running metres of engineering systems of power, heat, gas, water supply and wastewater disposal services  will be replaced, 1.3 mln square metres of façade will be repaired, etc.

According to Faizullin, 28 educational institutions are in the list for major repair at the total cost of 732m720 thousand roubles, and 85 pre-school educational institutions at the total cost of 743m710 thousand roubles to be overhauled in 2018.

Faizullin continued that it is planned to overhaul 14 children's recreation camps, to construct 6 of them and to reconstruct one.

As many as 42 cultural facilities will be overhauled with total funding amounting to 342m975 thousand roubles.

Under the programme of capital repair 120 outpatient centres with the total amount of 3b195m 720 thousand roubles will be repaired in 2018. In particular, 21 outpatient centres in Kazan, 15 policlinics in Naberezhnye Chelny, 6 centres in Nizhnekamsk, 4 policlinics in Almetyevsk and 74 outpatient centres in the municipal regions of the republic will be overhauled under this programme.

 As part of implementation of priority project “Development of comfortable urban environment” two bln roubles are allocated from the regional budget and 655 mln roubles from the federal budget. As many as 57 public space facilities, in particular, 26 parks, 17 beaches, 6 streets, 3 garden squares, 3 avenues and one square are planned to be developed.

Faizullin reminded that the projects of public spaces will be chosen by direct preferential voting of citizens in 2018.

Tatarstan President said that the voting of citizens should be considered to define priorities in terms of development of public spaces what kind of yards, parks and beaches they would like to see.
