Rustam Minnikhanov opens the Entrepreneurs’ House in Kazan

On December 11, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended the opening of the Entrepreneurs’ House.

Minister of the Economy of the republic Artem Zdunov, who also took part in the event, said that the multi-purpose centre is designed to offer quality and comfortable services for entrepreneurs in the single-window format.

The multi-purpose centre and the Sberbank branch are located on the ground floor. The regional leasing centre is located on the first floor of the Entrepreneurs’ House and a training centre, co-working area and other facilities will be located on the second floor.

As noted at the opening ceremony, the multi-purpose centre employs six universal specialists who will provide more than 180 services in the single window environment.

Minnikhanov was presented the Verified Business electronic database, which holds the information on inspections. The site will contain the information that will not let an entrepreneur make a mistake, the minister of economy noted. "There are more than 40 supervisory bodies in the republic and 200 agencies throughout Russia, which have two million requirements. It is impossible to know everything. This site will be the most relevant one," he said.

Tatarstan President added that the system of business checks should be transparent to avoid any ambiguous interpretation. "Any inspector should make photo fixation, which should be transferred in the database," Minnikhanov said.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minnikhanov thanked senior managers of Sberbank and Herman Gref personally for supporting the project. At the initial level, we need to replicate such a scheme of working with the business throughout the region with its further promotion to the federal level, he said.

Then, Minnikhanov visited a branch of the multi-purpose centre for rendering services to the public in Privolzhsky district of Kazan. Opened on November 10 this year at the Sberbank branch, the centre offers state and municipal services to individuals and legal entities through the single-window format. Tatarstan President was told about the work of the centre, types of services provided and the technical facilities of the office.

Later on the same day, Minnikhanov attended an event dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the government planning agencies of Tatarstan, with the Ministry of Economy of the republic being their successor. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Minnikhanov congratulated the employees and veterans of the ministry on the anniversary, noting that Tatarstan is one of the leading entities of the Russian Federation. The regional Ministry of Economy is doing a great job to improve the investment attractiveness of the region, develop various infrastructure sites, Tatarstan President said. Addressing the officials, Minnikhanov called them for maintaining a positive trend in the development of the economy of the republic.
