25.11.2017

On November 25, speaking at a regional  video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic, Minister of Information and Communications of the republic Roman Shaikhutdinov reported on the implementation of the state programme “Development of  information and communication technologies in the Republic of Tatarstan “Opened Tatarstan” for 2014-2020”.

Shaikhutdinov said that during 10 months of 2017 Tatarstan citizens have received over 91 million e-services, which is 40 per cent more as compared to the same period last year.

Looking through school marks and making an appointment with a doctor have remained the most popular services available on the Portal of State Services of the republic, the minister continued.

A total sum of e-payments has doubled and made more than 12 billion for 10 months. Citizens of the republic most often pay for housing and utility services and kindergartens.

Roman Shaikhutdinov also reported on new services, which have become available on the portal recently. Applying for a hunting permit is one of them. An application is filed electronically and in case of the approval of the application the only thing a user needs to do is to pick up the permit.

Assessment of the quality of medical assistance received is now also available on the portal.  Such indicators as waiting time, the attitude of medical staff and the condition of the premises are assessed. The results will be used by the regional Ministry of Health to improve the quality of health-care services at medical facilities. More than 10,000 patients have taken part in the survey during two weeks.

The minister went on to report that it has become possible to pay gas bills using electronic receipts without retyping 28-digit bar code from a paper receipt through the portal and mobile application “Services of the Republic of Tatarstan”.

Shaikhutdinov also told the meeting about other services and updates that have become available on the portal.
