Tatarstan President arrives on a working visit in Vietnam

On November 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a working visit in Ho Chi Minh (the Socialist Republic of Vietnam), was met by Consul General of the Russian Federation in Ho Chi Minh Alexey Popov at the airport. 

During his working visit, Minnikhanov will have a meeting with senior officials of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ho Chi Minh to discuss opportunities to strengthen cooperation between business circles of Tatarstan and Vietnam.

The development of partnership relations will be discussed in more details at the Vietnam-Tatarstan business forum. Representatives of Tatarstan will tell Vietnamese businessmen about the economic and investment potential of the republic, and hold some targeted meetings.

Minnikhanov also plans to meet Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong.

Moreover, Tatarstan President will visit the Saigon High Technology Park (SHTP), which is the leader among scientific and technical centres of Vietnam.
