Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in Russian-Saudi talks

On October 5, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to Moscow to take part in Russian-Saudi talks held during a state visit of King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Russia.

During their talks in the Kremlin Russian President Vladimir Putin and King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud discussed a broad range of issues of Russian-Saudi cooperation and prospects of enhancing bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian areas. They also exchanged views on international issues.

Then, Russian-Saudi talks continued in an expanded format.

Putin stressed that this is the first visit of King of Saudi Arabia in the history of Russian-Saudi interstate relations. "I am sure that this visit will give a new, powerful impetus to the development of bilateral interstate relations," he said.

A package of documents was signed following the talks.
