Tatarstan President arrives on working visit in Singapore

On October 2, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on working visit in Singapore, was met by Ambassador of Russia to Singapore Andrey Tatarinov at Changi airport.

The Tatarstan delegation includes Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Aide to Tatarstan President Natalia Fishman, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, Director of the Department for foreign affairs Eduard Khabibullin, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Valeev, First Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of Kazan Damir Fattakhov, Board Chairman of Ak Bars Bank Zufar Garaev.

On Monday evening Rustam Minnikhanov will watch laser show “Wings of time” at Sentosa Island, Asia's leading leisure destination and Singapore's premier island resort getaway with parks and attractions, sandy beaches, hotels and spa, and sports grounds. It is Singapore's fourth largest island (excluding the main island). 70% of the island was covered by secondary rainforest.

On Tuesday Rustam Minnikhanov will have a busy working schedule that will begin with several meetings at the Housing and Development Board and a presentation of the first eco city in Singapore.

Rustam Minnikhanov will also attend opening of the educational programme “Leadership and innovations in action” and the lecture “From the “Garden in the city” concept to the “City in a garden” concept at Civil Service College.  

In the afternoon Tatarstan President will meet Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong, and Minister of Trade and Industry and Minister of national development of the Republic of Singapore Koh Poh Koon. Moreover, working meetings will be held at the Ministry of national development of Singapore.
