Rustam Minnikhanov discusses cooperation issues with senior executives of Tokushukai medical group

On October 2, during his working visit to Japan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with senior executives of Tokushukai medical group.

Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Minister of Health of the republic Adel Vafin, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina and other regional officials took part in the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov said that he is familiar with the work of the Tokushukai company as one of the largest providers of medical services in Japan. Tatarstan President stressed that much is being done in the republic to promote healthy lifestyle, work is underway to reform the health care system, principles of treatment delivery and work of medical centres of Japan are being studied.

Making a presentation of the regional health care system, Vafin said, in particular, that leading medical centres of Tatarstan have mastered most of the world-known and effective high-tech medical interventions. He added that medical facilities of the republic use high-tech medical equipment made in Japan.

“We are very interested in cooperation. The Japanese health care system is appreciated all over the world. Your project is unique and we would like to find forms of collaboration," he said.
