Prime Minister of Tatarstan: There is positive dynamics in conclusion of agreements on social partnership

On September 22, at a solemn session of the Regional trilateral commission on regulation of social and labour relations dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the commission it was noted that there are 203 agreements on social partnership in Tatarstan.

The Regional trilateral commission on regulation of social and labour relations was founded in 1992.

Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin thanked everyone, who stood at the origins of the creation and development of the social partnership system.

“Issues of pursuing social and economic policy in the republic, our common and priority tasks are successfully sold on a contract basis, in the format of constructive dialogue of three parties, namely the state, business, and trade unions. Regional agreements that are concluded by the parties of social partnership include obligations for all key issues of social policy. The agreement on minimum wages was one of the most important decisions. The first agreement was concluded in 2007. The fifth agreement was signed this year. On July 1, 2017, the wage rate of the working population and workers of off-budget economic sector raised to living wages in the republic,” Head of the Tatarstan Government said.  

According to Pesoshin, labour contracts are one of key elements of the protection of labour law and social guarantees of workers, as well as an important part of the social partnership system.

The badge of the Federation of trade unions of the Republic of Tatarstan “For social partnership” was handed over to Alexey Pesoshin for his active cooperation with regional trade unions.
