More than 40,000 children from Tatarstan have rest in summer camps for free

On September 12, speaking at a briefing at the regional Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports of the republic Vladimir Leonov reported that as part of the regional summer health campaign more than 40,000 children from Tatarstan, who find themselves in difficult life situations, with deviant behavior and from large families have had rest in summer camps for free.

At the instruction of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov a special session has been organized for 134 children from large families in the Kazakevich Children's Recreation Camp in Bakhchysarai region in the Republic of Crimea for the second year in a row. Also, thanks to the support of the Government of Tatarstan, another 193 children, who are in difficult life situations, have had rest for free and have improved their health in camps in Anapa and the Crimea.

Moreover, 100 children from the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s republics have rested in the Kazan Zarechie camp using additional funds allocated from the regional budget in July.  An eventful entertainment programme, including sightseeing tours around the capital of Tatarstan and historical monuments of the republic waorganized for them.
