Mikhail Babich hands in certificates to judges of the Supreme Court and regional (city) courts of the Republic of Tatarstan

On September 4, Russian Presidential Envoy in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich handed in certificates to judges of the Supreme Court and regional (city) courts of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgiz Gilazov took part in the solemn ceremony.

Mikhail Babich said that, in total, nine judges would receive certificates.

“The judicial system of Tatarstan is one of the leading systems in Volga Federal District and Russia in terms of the number of judges working in the Supreme Court and the number of processed cases. You know that Tatarstan judges have got the highest caseload in Volga Federal District. The quality of justice is quite high and is authoritative for many courts in the district. The material and technical base also meets all common standards. It is the merit of the leadership of the court and republic,” Babich said.

He wished judges of Tatarstan fair investigation of criminal, civil, and administrative cases, and the understanding of the fact that implementation of functional duties and quality of justice, investment climate of the republic and the country, safety of citizens and other issues depend on the quality of judicial work.
