Rustam Minnikhanov opens new school in Naberezhnye Chelny

On September 1, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to Naberezhnye Chelny to take part in a solemn opening of a new secondary school.

Minnikhanov congratulated pupils and parents of the new school on the Day of Knowledge and Eid al-Adha.

Welcoming pupils, their parents and teachers of the new school, Minnikhanov said that today is a momentous day. He particularly stressed that there are 13 first-grade classes in the school. "It means that your city has great prospects! It is good that more children are born, and the task of the authorities is to create conditions for life, build kindergartens, schools, homes. Good luck!" Minnikhanov said.

Tatarstan President also reminded that a school for 800 pupils was opened in Naberezhnye Chelny in 2016. This year we are opening a school that has places for 1200 students, he continued.

He also said that construction of one more new modern school has started in the city this year. According to Minnikhanov, it will be a valuable gift for the city.

Then, Minikhanov handed over a symbolic key from the new facility to the principal of the secondary school No. 41.
